Atlanta hail is not a Savannah wind file.

Georgia losses change with the fall line. A spring hail core over the metro, a pine through a roof in a north-Georgia county, and tropical wind on the coast can all be “storm,” and the estimate should not be copied from one to the next. American Financial Claims represents policyholders — homeowners, condominium owners, and businesses — not the carrier. Reach us at (239) 444-8101 for a free claim review before you sign off on an offer or a recorded statement. Report the loss when the policy says to. Our review does not stand in for that notice, and it is not a fee.

The metro: hail, trees, and townhome roofs.

Atlanta and the northern suburbs — Sandy Springs, Roswell, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Marietta, and Duluth — mix architectural shingles, dense pines, and association roofs. Hail marks soft metal first. A carrier walk that stops at the driveway often misses bruised pipe jacks and granule piles in the gutter. Wind-thrown limbs open a different coverage question than hail bruising: the opening, the rain that followed, and the interior that got wet. Townhome and condominium files split again. The master policy may own the roof while your walls, floors, and betterments sit on the unit form. Loss-assessment wording matters when the association deductible is large. Bring both policies if you have them.

Interior water is its own Atlanta problem, and it is not always a storm. A kitchen supply line can soak cabinetry, flooring, and the room next door while the first carrier position is that nothing is owed. If your own letter says denied or the check will not rebuild the finishes, start with water damage, denied claims, and underpaid claims.

Coast, fall line, and south Georgia wind.

Savannah deals with humidity, wind-driven rain, and the separate question of rising water. Many homeowners forms exclude flood. If wind opened the building and surge came in later, the photos have to show which water is which. We will not fold both into one cause. Augusta, Macon, and Columbus see thunderstorm wind and hail on older housing stock, including rentals. Athens adds student housing and owner houses under the same storm. Farther south, Valdosta, Albany, and Warner Robins catch straight-line wind and the edge of tropical systems. A tornado track is narrow. Neighborhood-wide hail is not. Gainesville and the foothills can add ice on roofs that the coast never sees. South Fulton tracks the south metro more than the mountains. Use the city page for the address.

Commercial roofs, restaurants, and apartments need a scope the house form does not use. Equipment, tenant finishes, and interrupted operations belong in the file only when the policy actually covers them. See commercial claims and business interruption. We do not promise that a supplement will move the number.

License facts for Georgia.

The individual number published for Georgia on our licensing page is 3688318. American Financial Claims does not print a Georgia firm-license number here. We confirm status and whether we can take the engagement before representation. A directory line is not a live check with the Commissioner of Insurance. Florida firm license G288962 is the firm credential we publish, and it is a Florida license. These city links are service areas, not a claim of a local office in each one.

What the free review uses

Send the declarations page, photos of each slope and of soft metal, any tree or tarp invoice, contractor bids, and the carrier estimate or denial. If water started at a fixture rather than the roof, say so. The fee, if we propose a contract, is in writing before you sign. There is no charge to look. For deadlines that are legal rather than contractual, talk with a Georgia-licensed attorney. Your form can be stricter than a rule of thumb you heard from a neighbor.

Call (239) 444-8101

Should I hire a public adjuster before I accept the Atlanta hail check?

If you want a second read, call (239) 444-8101 first. Still report the loss on your policy’s timeline. A free review does not create a fee and does not replace notice.

My townhome association is claiming the roof. Do I have a claim?

Sometimes. The master policy and your unit policy can divide the building. Interior finishes, betterments, and a loss assessment may sit on your form even when the association owns the roof. We read both before treating the file as closed.

Is another client’s result a promise for my kitchen leak?

No. Your policy, cause, and documentation decide your file. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.

What Georgia license number is published?

Individual number 3688318. We do not publish a Georgia firm license. We confirm status before representation. Florida firm license G288962 is a Florida credential.

Do you have an office in every Georgia city on this page?

No. The links are service areas, not storefronts.
