Source: Florida Office of Insurance Regulation, Quarterly Market Intelligence Report: Statewide Commercial and Personal Summary by Company, Q2 2026 (policies in force as of June 30, 2026; data pulled Aug. 11, 2026). American Bankers Insurance Company of Florida is 7th by count but is left out: its reported premium ($52.9 million across 286,773 policies) points to mostly specialty or limited coverage rather than full homeowners policies. Also left out, for the same reason or because they are covered elsewhere: American Modern Home (20th; specialty and mobile-home-heavy, low premium per policy), American Security (24th; lender-placed coverage), Lemonade (29th; mostly renters policies), Homesite (23rd; an American Family company), and ASI and USAA affiliates (shown under Progressive and USAA). Positions 32 and below are not yet covered, except Florida Family and American Coastal.
