This Privacy Policy describes how American Financial Claims (“AF Claims,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information in connection with afclaims.com and related online and offline communications.
We are a licensed public adjusting firm. We represent policyholders on property insurance claims. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. Firm and individual licenses are published on our Licensing page (including Florida firm license G288962 · NPN 21769471).

2. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact and inquiry details from website forms (name, email, phone, message, property or claim context).
- Free claim review submissions (name, phone, email, ZIP, damage type, claim status, property type, notes, and any documents or photos you upload).
- Book / lead magnet downloads used to deliver “The Insurance Game — And How To Win It” or similar PDFs.
- Chat messages and contact details you provide in our website chatbot.
- Schedule / booking requests and claim notes.
- Careers inquiries (name, email, phone, role interest, résumé or work history).
- Call and SMS records related to conversations with our team.
- Analytics and device data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and approximate location — including via Google Analytics when configured.

Submitting a form, chatting, booking, or downloading a resource does not hire us. Representation begins only under a signed written public adjusting contract.
5. TCPA / SMS consent
If you provide a mobile number and consent to texts, we may send informational messages about your inquiry, claim review, appointments, or related firm communications. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
Reply STOP to opt out of SMS. Reply HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not cancel email or phone contact where still appropriate.
Consent to receive texts is not a condition of hiring us, except where a particular program or form expressly discloses otherwise.
6. How we share information
We do not sell personal information for money. We may share information with:
- Service providers that help us operate the business — hosting (including Vercel), email delivery, analytics (including Google Analytics when enabled), scheduling tools, and IT/security vendors;
- Insurance claim participants when you authorize us or when reasonably necessary to evaluate or handle a claim;
- Professional advisors under confidentiality as needed; and
- Authorities or other parties when required by law, regulation, licensing, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of our services.
7. Retention and security
We retain personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described above, including claim follow-up, licensing and business records, dispute resolution, and legal requirements.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
8. Cookies and local storage
We and our providers may use cookies, pixels, and similar tools to remember preferences (including language selection), keep forms and the site functioning, and understand traffic and performance.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may limit site features.
9. Children’s privacy
This website is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact support@AFClaims.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We use information to contact you about claim services you requested.
To opt out of any sale or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising (to the extent those activities ever apply), email support@AFClaims.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share.”
12. Book and lead magnet email
If you request “The Insurance Game — And How To Win It” (or a similar download), we use your email to send the PDF and related delivery messages. If you consent to marketing or educational follow-up, we may occasionally send claim tips or firm updates. You can unsubscribe using the link in those messages or by contacting support@AFClaims.com.
13. International visitors
We are based in Miami, Florida, United States — at 1395 Brickell Avenue, Suite 800, in the Brickell Arch building. If you access the site from outside the U.S., you understand that your information may be processed in the United States. This site is intended primarily for users in states where we are licensed to offer public adjusting services.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
